Autopsi, odling

Indikation

Misstänkt infektion. Ange närmare frågeställning på remissen.

Provmaterial

Blod från vänster hjärthalva (alt en bit mjältvävnad): se Blododling. Vävnadsbitar och/eller aspirat från misstänkta infektionshärdar.

Provtagning och transport

Vävnadsbitarna placeras var för sig i anaeroba transportburkar s k "T-rör" (fås från laboratoriet). Större bitar, främmande kroppar, implantat i steril burk (art. nr 163 19). Aspirat i 10 eller 1,5 mL Oxoid Isolator specialrör (finns på obduktion).

Metod

Odling med anrikning.
Vävnad koloniserad med normalflora (inkluderar lunga) odlas kvantitativt.
